# PC Monitoring > Employee attendance and work tracking on Windows workstations. A service on > every PC records session events (sign-in, sign-out, lock, unlock, sleep, > boot, shutdown, RDP), samples system metrics every 5 seconds, and captures > the list of open applications and a screenshot of the active monitor every > 15 seconds. The organization's dashboard builds the attendance timesheet and > the daily application report. Subscription per PC per month: $3 for metrics and the > attendance timesheet, $4 with screenshots, $5 with the application report, > payroll and AI analysis; prices in US dollars, > payment via Stripe. An offline edition on the customer's own server > (self-hosted, no internet) is a one-time $1,000 for up to 100 PCs. Two terms are used throughout: an **organization** is the customer company, its employees and its dashboard; an **agent** is the Windows service on the workstations that feeds data into that dashboard. ## What the product does - **Attendance timesheet.** Arrival, departure, work, idle and lock for every employee. The timesheet is computed from an immutable event stream, so late data corrects the record rather than creating a second version of the truth. Periods without data are shown as "no data" and are never rounded away. - **Daily application report.** Per employee: which programs they worked in, when each was opened and closed, how long it lasted — longest first. Only active work of at least a minute counts (the window in focus while the employee is present and not idle); background windows don't. Excel export; every export is written to the audit log. - **How an application was closed — from facts only.** Closed by the user (the application disappeared while the PC kept running), from the dashboard (per the audit log), or by sign-out, shutdown or restart (per the event after the last snapshot). Without such evidence it stays "not closed" — no time is invented. - **Processes and commands.** The applications open right now; close an application, or restart or shut down a PC, from the dashboard. - **Screenshots.** The active monitor every 15 seconds, shown as a strip of frames for the day; can be turned off per employee. - **Works offline.** The agent buffers data on disk and retries; every record carries the time it was collected, not the time it arrived. - **Acceptance.** A new PC registers itself and waits until the organization accepts it in the dashboard for one of its employees; nothing is collected until then. Employees are added by the organization only. Monitoring stops in one click. - **Stable PC identity.** An identifier is issued at installation; a new IP address, a switch between Wi-Fi and Ethernet or a renamed machine does not split the history. ## Technical specifications - Agent: Windows service, **Windows 7 SP1 and later** (7 SP1 — 11, Server 2008 R2 SP1+); .exe installer (Inno Setup) and a portable ZIP, silent mode for RMM/scripts (`pc-monitoring-agent--setup.exe /VERYSILENT /APIURL=... /ORGTOKEN=...`). - Agent updates. The agent asks the server which version is on offer and, when its own is older, shows the employee a window in their language (Uzbek, Russian, English). On "Update" the service itself downloads the installer with the organization's key, verifies the checksum and installs it silently — the employee needs no administrator rights and nobody has to walk the desks. On "Later" the window returns the next time the computer starts. - Dashboard languages: Uzbek (Latin), Russian, English — chosen by the organization's country. AI verdicts are written in the same language. - Server: Linux + Docker Compose; a stateless API that scales with workers and replicas; a broker buffers writes and a separate process writes them to a columnar store in batches. - Scale: designed for loads on the order of **100,000 agents** per installation. - Retention: set separately for events, metrics and screenshots; application snapshots (the report is built from them) are kept for 30 days; data is dropped by partition, not row by row. ## Pricing - **Standard** — $3 per PC per month: metrics every 5 seconds, session events, processes and commands from the dashboard, the attendance timesheet, technical support. - **Control** — $4 per PC per month: everything in Standard plus screenshots of the active monitor every 15 seconds. Screenshots can be turned off. - **Business** — $5 per PC per month: everything in Control plus the daily application report with Excel export, payroll calculation and AI activity analysis. - The calculator on the site covers up to 100 PCs; larger fleets are served by contract. - Technical support is included in the subscription. A dedicated technical specialist is available for a small extra fee. ## Offline edition (self-hosted) - The whole system on the customer's own server (Linux x86_64), running with no internet and no connection to our servers; everything it needs, Docker included, comes in one package. - A one-time payment of $1,000 for up to 100 PCs, no subscription. The customer purchases the server. - More than 100 PCs takes a separate payment and separate infrastructure sized for the customer's fleet (servers planned for the load), under contract. - One organization. Included: the attendance timesheet, the daily application report, session events, metrics, processes and commands, active-monitor screenshots, the employee's own cabinet. Not included: payroll and AI analysis — cloud edition only. - Installing, stopping and starting are one command each; the agent installer already carries the server address and the organization key. Passwords, keys and the certificate are generated for each installation. - Prices are in US dollars; payment is made via Stripe. ## Security - Agents hold no object-storage credentials: frames go to the API, and only the API talks to the store. No signed URLs are issued at all. - A leaked organization key can only register a new PC that waits for acceptance — it becomes data only once a person accepts it for an employee. - Organization keys rotate without reinstalling the fleet; revocation is per key. - The dashboard is behind the organization's login and excluded from search indexing. - Monitoring is meant to be used openly: employees should be told they are monitored, as most jurisdictions require by law. ## Links - Landing page: https://pcmonitor.app/ - Contact: https://acceleraituz.t.me (Telegram) - The dashboard is behind a login, not indexed, and its address is given on request — there is no public link to it.
